I don't under the hype about peterson. There hasn't been one boise coach leave and have the same success at another school.

..here is an everyday drunk at the pub assessment of the college coach dart board game with Jeff Long throwing at the bullseye, and given the fact Jeff has had 8 months practice throwing at the bullseye by the time the monkey sitting next to him picked up his first dart.

now by rule, the bullseye's face has to be calculated as the most successful winner and realistically available division 1 coach in america...

82-8 over the last 7 seasons... bullseye equals Chris Petersen. the little ring around the bullseye equals Gary Patterson.

Chris Peterson is not going to be the Arkansas coach. Yall are fricking dreaming. Ask for official permission all you want, but when he officially says "frick nahh," I can't wait to see Arkansas fan spin it into "upon further review, we decided coach Pete isn't good enough to be our coach...."

Petersen has already turned down better jobs. He's not leaving Boise for NW Arkansas. Wow this is pathetic.

Nah, we know a good coach when we see one. Not landing Petersen would sting.

The search has been consuming the thoughts in their heads for 8 months now...

And they aren't even trying hard anymore. There's a canned script:

______________ is not going to be the Arkansas coach. Yall are fricking dreaming.

Thanks for the heads up, Chris. Tell your son to keep up the good fight.

What jobs has he turned down, exactly? UCLA? Who else?

I still say after watching his team play last night with basically no QB and finding a way to win.... give Charlie Strong a chance.
His team won ugly last night but they showed GUTS!
Something very few of our players showed this past season (TW and Cobi excluded)

Obviously, but of your list Hawkins is the only one who saw his coaching career crash and burn away from Boise and that was mainly because he went to Colorado.
