If Miles is such an amazing developer of talent, how many offensive 1st rounders has he produced? Under Brick Haley and Chief how many? A coach is measured in large part to the caliber of players they coach. Miles is an O line guy so it stands to reason that we should be busting out tons of 1st round O liners? Unless your counting Addi, or Russell the Miles regime hasn't produced a single offensive 1st rounder, I give Saban credit for Buster Davis, Dwayne Bowe and Russell. So all you pro Miles Sheep please explain this to me. I am sure you have an answer that defies belief.

They probably say this proves how good of a coach he is winning all those games without top talent.

Not a first rounder, but isn't Steven Ridley a starter for New England (one of the best teams in the NFL)? Reuben Randle has been a solid contributor. Morris Claiborne, Patrick Peterson......all guys on the rise in the NFL.

So you cherry-pick a small detail of a single aspect of coaching and use that as your argument against the guy? I can find a handfull of faults with Miles as well, but that doesn't mean I don't think he's a great coach.

Developing talent is only measured by first rounders produced? I saw 3 LSU players score TDs in the NFL this past week.

And of course you give credit to Saban for those guys, it makes you're argument easier.

A coach is measured by wins and losses. Gene Chizik coached Cam Newton. Big Deal.

Of course you do. This is what fits your line of thinking. You can't credit anyone else.
