I'd probably go with a single reed. Doesn't really matter what brand, you can make it loud and raspy as you want with minimum air pressure. Go look at the RNT original in the cocobolo

Tie a rope on one of these and yank it every now and then. Works like a charm.

My microhen stuck on me all the time, maybe I just got a lemon though

eta: Yes I do most of the time. Some places won't let you, but if you talk to the guy selling them and ask him if you can go outside they'll usually let you

My daughter has a couple of calling ducks that quack there arse off all day. Would love to put them out.

For just a good call that's pretty easy to blow and is cheap, a Primos Wench is hard to beat.

I got an alpha 2 I might sell ya. Look a GK calls though I like them but I like to be different than the echo/rnt crowd.

I use a RNT Dailey cutter but if you want an easy single reed check out J.L. Lars. You can only order them online. He has some recordings and his calls sound just like the recording. My buddy has one and its worth the money. One of the duckiest calls I've ever heard top to bottom. Get the hybrid.
