Does this summarize what we know about a supposed Arkansas offer to Miles?

Arkansas making an offer to Les Miles is based on 1 tweet from a moderate source. Supporting evidence is scant and contradictory. 2 Arkansas and 1 independent sources say that Arkansas reps deny that an offer was made. The Times Picayune says they have a corroborating source. Hopefully this will be addressed at the press conference, but for now details remain largely unknown.

what constitutes an "offer"?

How hard would it be for Miles to just have a quick two minute press conference to say he has not been contacted and is not interested?
He does not want to leave, but he is going to try and get a raise for either he or his staff.

Tweet Joe Schad and he will run to the airwaves with a new "source". It's the modern era of sports "journalism".

Which is his prerogative. If I could squeeze a raise out of my employer, I'd give it a shot.

Correct. I don't blame him one bit.

Wanting a raise for doing a good job? Unheard of.
