Anyone else get the feeling that Chicken could have concocted this whole Les to Arky story just to increase traffic on the coaching changes board? Unlike most of the previous few years, the coaching changes board had been pretty slow until tonight. No LSU coaching drama to drive the board. Whether it be Miles or a coordinator change, there was always a story to increase interest. Chicken, if this was your idea, well played sir!

I don't believe this.. Chicken comes off as a rational human being with a brain, so I can't see him wanting Miles gone.

He is rational, thus he wants him gone

I like Chicken ! I've agreed with everything he has posted, as far back as I remember !

He is very successful , I can't believe the time he puts in on the rant.

That's what is fishy about this. Chicken says you can't say anything about firing him then boom Arkansas sends out feelers to gauge his interest.

What do I think is really going on?

Jerry Jones wants to see which big time coach in the west he can potentially bring to Dallas if his cowboys don't make the playoffs. I'm sure Saban was asked as well but probably flat out said no.

Saban got word that Miles may jump. Saban says I'll go back to LSU if Miles is gone. He desarately would want to make up for his bad Karma.

Ultimate plan gets Jerry a better coach in Dallas and weakens the two top dogs in the west thereby strengthening Arkansas while meddling.

None of this is probably true but it sounds good to me.

He's just angling to take the job.

I have accused him of banning me but I know it was just a horrible mistake.

There has been a few times people have thought he should go. His highest point as an LSU coach was after the 2007 championship. He has declined ever since that day. Regardless of the 2011 regular season victories, the way the team was handled left a sour taste for many fans, players and boosters.

Great guy but he sometimes defies all logic in what would normally seem to be an easy call. This may be that happening outside of coaching and happening in his actual decision making when it comes to the rest of his life.

Sometimes I wish we could turn back time and not live in a world where stupid people have access to each other just by turning on a computing device.

You missed the point. He's lost support since that day. 13-0 quieted the rumblings of his handling of the JJ situation. This has only looked worse as TM7 and JJ have had off the field issues.

I'm just stating the facts. If you took a poll on Miles likability it would be 90% because he shows passion.

When it comes to shitting the bed in high value high stress situations, Miles is 90%.
