Interesting article on how Vegas thinks ND would match up against the SEC powerhouses. Not very surprising if you ask me.

Not surprising. A non-SEC has to win a big game against a SEC team before they get any respect. I have watched ND a few times and IMO they can compete with anybody. Time will tell.

I'd take a pick with LSU and laugh all the way to the bank

If alabama play notre dame it will be 41 to 14 bama. Haven't watched georgia this year so I am not going to predict anything there. But those numbers seem to narrow to me.

I would pull for every SEC schools against ND except for the Gumps. If they happen to get there, I hope the Gumps lose by 40.

I agree with the overall sentiment but all of those lines are pure speculation at this point and aren't worth much.

I don't think ND will score a TD on Alabama or Georgia. They have a good FG kicker so they may get 6 points Maximum.

I just don't think they can play with the SEC just yet.

ND isn't built to run with aTm and that alone gives aTm a 14 point advantage.

Who would be willing to bet everything they own that Notre Dame would beat Vandy?

I would.

They didn't play in the SEC but they did beat

High Ranked Stanford and Oklahoma
Low-ranked Michigan
Good rivalry but team with no depth - USC

Vandy doesn't have a single win over a ranked team even though they did beat up the lower teams.

Post-awakening Mettsiah? 34-13 LSU
Pre-awakening? 17-14 LSU

UGA gave up 44 to Tennessee...

Are they really that good against good passing teams?

I watched a horrible Pitt team shank a 33 yd fg in triple OT to gift them the game and watched them struggle with a 7-5 team playing a true freshman 2nd string QB in his first start with a total douchebag diot for a coach.

Alabama or UGA will crush them.

I get there record says they are undefeated but I watched the Stanford game, and Stanford won in all honesty.

Early this year they'd have had a good shot. LSU, with the offensive improvement, is too good now. LSU was unmotivated the last few games. Don't let that fool you. The Tigers are probably one of the top two teams in the country.

Regarding the championship game. ND has a great coach and good front line talent. They don't have Bama's depth or comprehensive talent. They probably match up better with Georgia. However, I think Georgia matches up better with Bama and will probably beat them.
