Illinois coach Tim Beckman could be in trouble after 1 season

Lots of chatter on local radio in Chicago today that Illinois has a specific guy in mind and if they get him, Beckman is gone. If not, Beckman gets another year.
A lot of Illini fans have said Petrino or Tedford, but neither of them are apparently the target. I'm guessing it could be Doeren at NIU, but they might not want another guy whose head coaching experience is limited to a couple good seasons in the MAC. I'm not sure who else is a realistic possibility that they'd be happy with.

Beckman's buyout is two times his base pay of $400,000 for each year remaining on his contract. The agreement includes a $275,000 annual deduction from the buyout based on Beckman's "duty to mitigate damages with other income," according to his contract, which gives an example buyout.
He has 4 years left on his contract.
Illinois still owes several million on buyouts to Zook, Bruce Weber and the women's basketball coach as well.
