The skin + case aren't bad. I put it on and it looks like. The skin is also a screen protecter, so that's nice.

They also give you a link to download some matching wallpapers, which look very nice with the skin.

But you see, Persona and Megaten fans go crazy over it. I bought the extra for the PS2 version of Persona 4 for $30. A week after it was sold out, the lowest bid was for $220.

Persona swag and merch is some of easiest resell-able stuff out there. Even moreso with Golden since so few have a Vita right now. There will be many JRPG fans who get buy one later on who will want that skin.

Probably going to tuck my edition away for a couple weeks and just get the download version.

So what you are saying.. is I should keep it and never open it? Sounds good to me, I'll just get the regular version sometime down the road.

I would buy the digital version if you have the space. I can't possibly imagine that Solid Gold edition losing much value.

I'll have to remember.

Don't normally access TD outside of work and on my phone. Don't usually carry my Vita with me.

Cool I accepted, so yeah, I think I'm going to return the solid gold edition.. I just can't justify the buy, I'm so wishy washy.

At least throw it up on ebay or Amazon and make some cash off of it.

They were over $100 for awhile there, but all of a sudden the prices tanked, I dunno, I'm still being very wishy washy on this, if nothing else, the innards of the product are selling for $65 right now, so I could sell those and end up having paid only $5 for the game.. this is so German to me, I have no clue what I'm doing, totally not the "collector" type.

What sets persona 4 apart from other games like it? Is it the characters/story that draws y'all to it, the series or gameplay?

Not talking shite, I literally know nothing about it.

Story, characters, and gameplay for me. It's incredibly deep with all the personas and it has some quirks that make a normal turn based battle system very enjoyable.

Edit: Social Links are favorite part though.

So I got a bit too drunk after the Falcons won on Thursday (Go Falcons!) and decided to go ahead and purchase Persona 4 as a download (the solid gold version is still coming in the mail).

I have put 2 hours into it and while it is certainly Japanese all the way, I can see how this game will be very addicting. There are a lot of great elements that will support it being a great RPG. It has taken a while to actually get to this point in the story, but it seems like a very well put together game. Seems like a perfect fit on the Vita.
