To me, Saban's BS process crap would get old after about a week or two.

You can say what you want But remember TWO things. LSU would NOT be where they are today if NOT for Saban AND he treated EVERYONE at LSU the Same as he treats everyone at Bama. He left LSU for a dream Job he has ALWAYS wanted in the NFL. Did he do it right??? Prob not. BUT he realized that his coaching style was better suited for the college game, and came to an opening that was there.

Cause, he wasn't winning Championships at Michigan State and he never went undefeated at LSU.

Well he has only 1 unbeaten season at Bama. I still think that the 2003 LSU team HE coached is better than ANY Bama team he has coached. IMO.

I'm in agreement with you here. CFB coaches aren't paid millions of dollars to be role models or insightful moralists. They are paid to win champiionships.

I am in disagreement
I might just be a delusional LSU fan, but i think they are hired to be role models and win championships!!!!! Jus sayin

Then why is he leaving college football after this year to coach the Cleveland Browns, that's what has been going around. Don't worry he will do an interview and say "I love Bama and i love it here, "I am not leaving Bama" and then the next morning , he will leave

I assure you that Saban IS a roll model to his players. He doesn't have to PLEASE anyone else, except the Bama BRASS. And he does that by winning the way he has. Miles takes a different approach. Nothing wrong with that as long as he gets results.

i think this puts a fork in the debate.

Nick is a complete douch. I don't think any respectible coach would be so transparent. Seriously, you'd have to be bankrupt of morals, good sportsmanship, class and self-awareness to make this statement.

and yes, college coaching is more than x's and o's. that 'win at any cost' attitude is for the nfl, not college.

thank god he's no longer at LSU. insecure little prick is trying to ruin college ball and turn it into the NFL.

Beautiful aint it? Watching the Gumps (mostly on the SEC Rant) stammer and stutter to try to justify this gem is pure gold.

That's calling the kettle black. He needs to be worried about Georgia instead of Florida. He's just mad that Florida will go to the sugar bowl and bama to a lower bowl IF they lose in the sec championship game. Hell he can have the chick- fil-a bowl and I'd take the outback for lsu. I just like outback better. P.S. frick saban!

It's funny....last year we won the regular season game, got rolled by the talking heads that Alabama is still the better team...then they get the rematch thanks in part to ESPN giving Saban the stage. This year the better team loses and we get kicked back to a dark part of the top ten, no recovery...Im just ready for the playoffs, forget this political BS that goes on at the end of the season...
Everyone and his mother knows the SEC has 2 or 3 teams that can beat any team out there.

Peejay you really ARE as STUPID as YOU look. Role Model? So you're thinking that hypocrisy is the right thing to portray to young men?
How'd it work out with his own kids?
