Jerry Jones won't hire Saban because he's not a pushover and won't do what Jones tells him too. Its the exact same reason I ignore all the Sean Payton rumors

But when Philly comes calling to Saban...

Kind of like Bill Belichick.

I do rememeber Tom Brady laughing alot when he held up the Lombardi Trophy....3 different times.

I guess you forgot about Parcells and Chan being in Dallas.

Saban would go there and Jerry doesn't mettle as much as you think. But don't let the made up story of Jimmy/Jerry fool you. Jerry was the bad guy and accepted it, Jimmy was ready to leave he had no more to prove.

I was wondering where the annual threads about Saban were. We just need the Texas threads to couple with the NFL threads.

Amazing how Gumps changed the Drew Brees Story just so the little bastard doesn't appear to make a mistake.

Saban said himself he made a mistake going to the pro's - the man makes mistakes and was a shitty pro coach. For some reason, that doesn't stop threads like these from appearing on message boards year 'round though.

I think you could see him in the nfl with San Diego chargers. They have the talent, just some missing keys. Get him there and let him draft or trade for a QB he likes, and go with it. He would win there. One of the weakest divisions in the NFL. Anyone can beat the chief and the raiders twice in a year. Take 1 of 2 from the broncos... That's 5 wins there. If they get paired with nfc east, that's 8 wins total. Win a couple more and it's playoff bound.

I think it would be a bad move for him to go to the pros. However, you know the pro teams are talking to his agent. There is no way that some of these teams are not pursuing him. I just don't see him him leaving for the pros.

if he goes to Dallas its b/c Jerry offers him an ungodly amount of money and promises to give him final say on all player moves.

If Jerry is not willing to get the f-ck out of the way, Saban will not leave.

Sadly as a Cows fan, I know that Jerry will never budge on the GM issue and will continue to be Al Davis 2.0

Nick Saban will not coach the Cowboys. Jerry Jones ego is too big, he will not relinquish personnel decisions to Nick, who would insist on it. Saban will not play second fiddle to anyone. Jerry wants a puppet, and you think NS will do that? No way.

Lot of stupid in this thread. Even though you morons wish he would leave Bama it isn't happening. Why would an NFL team even want him? Nobody is chasing his agent down from the NFL. Just prepare yourselves to continue to look up at Bama in the SEC. Schmucks!
