His name is Brian Zoubek and he was the worst player over 7ft I've ever seen in my life for 3 and a half years of his career. He couldn't shoot, rebound, block shots, dunk, dribble or make a layup(he could shoot freethrows!!). For some reason halfway through his senior year he started running the floor, getting rebounds and putbacks. Zoubek still couldn't really block shots but noone could make any on him either since he was huge and he turned into the best offensive rebounder in the ACC. He help Duke make up for the fact that the only real perimeter defender they had was nolan smith and was one of the man reasons duke won the championship in 2010 in my opinion. I'm not saying LSU will win the championship because of tuba either!!! All i'm saying is I did hate the tuba ideal and didn't think he had a chance of actually playing and producing. Zoubek wish he had Tuba lil hook shot and his ability to block shots. Don't be surprised when his minutes and production keeps increasing and we're already a better defensive team with him in the game clogging the middle. I know it's hard to believe but if ludnut can start then tuba definitely can. Face it because it's not like he is 5ft10. HE IS HUGE!

Tuba has recently gained so much confidence that it is spilling from him. It's crazy. Jones said in his post game interview that as Tuba walked into the locker room after the game (he was last cause he was getting interviewed by TV) he held both arms up and stated "SUPERSTAR!".

Jones said he has gained so much confidence and it is showing in his play.

You're obviously a youngster, because you clearly never saw LSU's own Andy Campbell.

Not only was I impressed withg Tuba's dunk, but his post move actually wasnt that bad. I never thought I'd see Tuba ISO on another 7' guy and put in the baby hook. It wasn't very fluid, but he got good position and put it in like he was suppose to.

He talked in his post game interview how much he worked on endurance over the summer and it showed. He really never lost a step in his 15 minutes of action.

I'm excited about his development. He looks better than some of the 7-foot stiffs we had in the 70s and 80s like A. Campbell and Z. Jovanovich. The key is can he put in enough minutes to let JOB sit 8-10 minutes a game? His development certainly helps. We don't need to solely rely on Ludwig now.

I think he played 1 year... But seriously. All reports are that he gets to practice early to work with coaches and stays late. He is putting in all hte work and all the players are happy and excited for his devlopment.

I think his confidence has been the biggest change in the last few games and he said it was due to the coaches having faith and confidence in him.
