It really doesn't matter how good the rest of the team plays.

If Drew decides to have a horrific day, he will drown us.

Luckily, he's also what wins us games most of the time.

Yep.

We either live or die by Drew Brees.

We began the game with a reserve RT that barely had but a few plays NFL experience. Het gets injured right away and we play with someone just signed. All this against the NFL's best D.
The incompletion Colston got hurt on should have been a reception in the first place - that was on Marques.
Their DB's had the benefit of mugging our receivers all afternoon without a call.
Don't blame Drew.

Always an excuse

It's not an excuse. It's THE reason Brees has made horrible decisions. He had no time whatsoever. Now that first pick 6 was completely on Drew. No excuse for him making that throw. But most of his other bad decisions were the result of pressure.

Drew needs to learn how to take a sack. No reason to force it up 7 with only 30 seconds left. This game is entirely on brees and I personally am not too happy he's doing CBS shows during such a crucial week. With that said, we don't win one game without Drew

Drew probably feel worse than anyone about and will try to do something constructive about it and not whine.

Our OL is horrible. The 1st pick 6 is on Brees but he had no time to do anything most of the game.

These posts are a joke. Watch the fricking game

We did essentially start some guy we picked up on Tuesday. No team in the league will look good with their 4th string RT against that defense.

We looked worse against them last year with a healthy oline, + Nicks.

The Saints actually had more sacks than they did coming into the game. They simply can't block those guys.

The PS3 gets reset from Heisman mode to rookie mode against Atlanta on Thurs and our oline goes back to looking like the fake pro bowlers again.

We looked pretty terrible in the 2nd half.

Hopefully but if that dude we picked up Tuesday or Tackle Eligible starts I'm not so sure.

No it wasn't. I guarantee you that Brees blames himself for throwing that ball. He had three guys around him and had to fully expose/extend himself to catch it

74 didn't even try to block anyone in the last series.

Our olinemen just aren't that good. Thats the case every week though, and we dont see those types of performances. Brees covers a lot of their mediocrity by getting rid of the ball so fast. Evans and Nicks are the only legit guys we've had there. I dont think another team in the league has the bodies to do what SF does to our oline.
