wait, so you all dont think that Forrest Jr. was really forrest's kid?
Maybe because i was 10 when i first saw the movie, this was lost on me. Do you mind explaining to me how you came to that conclusion?
And, for those of you that say Jenny was a count, her character's behavior was developed based on the abuse she endured as a child. If you know anything about psychology or child development, extreme promiscuity is very common for women who are abused.

If the neighborhood skank told me she was preggo and it was my kid, i sure as frick wouldnt take it as gospel.

i always assume she contracted aids before her stay with forrest, and if she is to get pregnant the night before she left, then forrest was certainly exposed to it.

So it is fairly agreed upon that Jenny had AIDS and died. Being that her son is maybe 5, wouldn't the son have AIDS too? And if that is Forrest's son, wouldn't Forrest have AIDS?

People, the odds of an HIV positive woman passing the disease to man during intercourse is actually very low. I can't remember for sure, but is something like 1 in a 1000.
Moreover, an HIV positive woman does not always pass the disease to their child during pregnancy. The odds again are that she would not infect the child. The odds of infection are like 1 in 5, maybe less.
So it's entirely possible, even very likely, that even if Jenny was HIV positive during sex with Forrest and pregnancy she would not pass it to Forrest or Forrest, Jr.

Is just being HIV positive possibly fatal before it turns to Aids? May be a stupid question but its an honest one

Maybe she died from hepatitis from shared needles? I think she died from what they knew nothing about back then, aids. The movie just said an immune deficiency. But aids patients die from secondary illness' like hep.

She could have gotten it after she had him, and no, it doesnt always pass from mother to sun, but it is very possible that the kid has HIV. yes.

It probably is. That's why she straightened her life out and got the job as a waitress, etc... Because she had the kid. And she didnt care to see Forrest till she found out he was rich, found out she had AIDS, and thought about the best thing for her kid.

All of this is possible, but to be accurate she would have given them both HIV, whther or not it turned into full blown AIDS is something we'll never know.

She tried once and he popped to early and then he got dizzy and they cuddled and her roommate has the "I cant believe my roommate just tried to rape a retarded guy" look on her face.
Later in the movie he confesses his love for her and she basically shits on his heart, One of the best "love confessions" in a movie ever.:
I love you Jenny.

Then they have sex, the next morning she wakes up, leaves his war metal on the dresser, and disappears until said AIDS problem.
