Stick Tackling Is The Key To Winning Football

My high school football coach (Class B, Texas) told us that you will win every game if you are proficient at "stick tackling" (e.g. you "stick" it to them and there are no missed or broken tackles).
If you track LSU, the more stick tackling in a game, the better the team performed.

I only played at the hs level, but it drives me crazy when our guys go for the kill shots and leave their feet. Not very solid tackling recently.

Tackling was horrendous against Arkansas. But it's not because they were going for kill shots.. LSU was just missing almost every tackle in space. Getting juked..
