Curious, honest question: where are the best seats in the PMAC considering the fact that i'd like to "impress" a female companion? Not necessarily just for this game, but the PMAC in general.

I've only attended games as a student so I've never really messed with the upper levels.

Anywhere close to the court with Legends club access honestly.

sections 103, 104, 113, and 114 are Legend's Club access.

What's all this lower level social suicide talk? Sorry for being a noob, just trying to support the program.

They were talking about the new student section lower level. Its behind one of the baskets and its all weird people that sit there. Regular lower level seats are fine

Haha drop a ton of money and call your TAF rep and ask him to bring you courtside for a game. Other than that, find Legends Club access tickets or Courtside Club tickets. They are pretty rare, but they pop up.

I'm finding out how rare they really are.

It's ridiculous that I have found and paid (typically 800-1000/pair) for court-side Hornets tickets but nothing remotely close for an LSU game. To be honest, I'd rather spend that money supporting the school's program versus Benson Inc.

The only justification I see is if the holders of those seats (TAF or not) are continuously shelling out 500+ per ticket for an entire season and attending most of the games. But even then, you're telling me they sell out ALL of those seats in those sections?

What kind of turnout do you guys expect for this game. I'm saying around 7-8k but could be more? Less?

yeah. those sections are sold out for the season and the blue hairs who buy em probably don't sell them online.

Tough call.

On one hand...

- It's "late" on a Thursday night
- Most pre-finals week test/assignments should be done
- Its Seton Hall
- Its on ESPNU

On the other hand...

- The Falcons game
- People still think we suck

I think the general student population does. I know when I try to tell others about the program this year they are fairly about it.

I think I'm expecting a crowd similar to Marquette last year. Which ain't saying much at all, but I loved the crowd that night. Honestly I had thought TJ brought da deaf dome back after storms alley slam against UK. Loudest I heard the PMAC since 06. Hickeys buzzer beater against the grind was a great arse night too

yes.
And I think it'll honesty take a win versus a Florida or UK for people to think otherwise. TJ left that bad of an impression on LSU basketball in this city, which is sad considering we were in the final four just 6 years ago.

I'd love to see us at 8-0 going into that Marquette game. People need to GTF over the TJ era and get their asses in the seats.

I could see us easily losing to Seton Hall, Boise, and UCI. If we are 8-0 heading into Marquette then my expectations for SEC play will be way too high

This. Win or lose our team is fun to watch regardless

I could see us losing to SH... maybe Boise and UCI since it's a young team's first road trip. We look decent compared to them in some of the big categories though I didn't do an opponent comparison

scoring
LSU: 24
Hall: 103
Boise: 83
UCI: 76

rebounds
LSU: 6
Hall: 141
Boise: 199
UCI: 12

assists
LSU: 37
Hall: 70
Boise: 95
UCI: 7

shooting
LSU: 44
Hall: 82
Boise: 138
UCI: 140

I honestly feel fairly confident about Seton Hall on Thursday though. It's their first road game and I could see our quickness having an advantage on the perimeter. My only worry is that we will get hammered inside though.

I'm almost 100 percent positive that Johnny knows this is a big game to win in terms of filling up the PMAC. Our players will probably play their balls off too

I look for Del Piero to finally announce his presence with authority.
