With all of the injuries, suspensions, and if you consider how little meaningful in-game experience our QB had prior to this season, how would you describe it? Our only losses came to FLA and Bama, both games LSU had opportunities to win. Would you call it a "Flop", or did they "out-play your expectations".

Better than I expected as I had predicted a 8-4 record.

Skin of our teeth. Leslie fricked up by not playing mett more last year. He'll do the same with rivers next year and when he finally gets to start it'll be the same shite.

Underachieving.
Underwhelming.
Erratic.
Occasional flashes of brilliance.
More underwhelming.
Disappointing at times.
Struggle to watch.
Glad to be 10-2, considering...

Great season - looking forward to next year. Gained some valuable experience for a lot of young players. Mett came on strong at the end and I expect that to continue and improve. We'll be in the hunt again.

SEC dominance will be threatened for the first time in 8 or 9 years. Get ready for Buckeye nation and their superiority complex. God help us all.

Young players getting better as the season progressed. Met needed PT and the loss of the honey badger hurt us.

Pretty damn good considering injuries, dismissals, and some marginal play calls.

This... and even with marginal play calls we're a fumble away from locking down UF and 1'30" from beating Bama with all those injuries and suspensions.

What other team in the country can suffer the losses we had and go 10-2 with 5 top 25 teams in a row and only lose by a hair to two top 5 teams?

Seriously, take Yeldon and Bama's two top o-linemen along with a starting All American corner plus one starting linebacker away from them, give them LSU's schedule, and I wonder how they do.

I learned my expectations were too high considering the losses we had on defense and ST (Claiborne, Mathieu, Brooks, Brockers) and my erroneous expectation that Mett would waltz in and be superior to our QBs last year from day 1.

Once I figured out how young our team is, and saw improvement on offense toward end, I'm better dealing with this just not being our year. Going in, I was sure we were Miami bound.

LSU's regular season was thrown away by that debacle against UF on October 6th. We had no business losing that game.

This.

Also, Les needs to stop punting when we should take a risk and go for it (and put a little trust in the offense), the reason so many teams played us to the last seconds of the fourth quarter. Ark. actually should've had 1 sec on the clock for another play...LSU was lucky, again, to escape with a win.

Losing to the only two teams that mattered makes a 10 win season a flop.
