Between the screw job with Bama last year, making us play again the only team capable of beating us, and us getting literally no breaks this year I think we have sufficiently given back for our 2007 gift.

We can only hope Bama will have to pay the piper some point soon for their gifts the last 2 seasons.

i dont get this. We had to go out and win the sec both times we played for the bcs title. We were the best team in 07.

Well, they may be starting a freshman at QB two years from now and will be breaking in two tackles during the process.

Agree we were the best team, but it took an act of god for us to get that shot. Unlike our Bama friends I can admit when I feel fortunate instead of acting like it was some preordained right.

Yes, we were, but we messed up twice by playing to our opponents' level ( see, nothing's new). We needed Pitt, who was horrible, to beat WVA, which there was no chance in hell of happening, but, they did! It was comparable to Auburn beating Bama today.

No it didn't and people who say this are retarded.

OU had already beaten Missou and was FAVORED to do it again.

The only other thing we needed was for a mediocre Pitt team to beat a WVU team that had never felt that kind of pressure before in a rivalry game known as the Backyard Brawl.

03 was a bigger miracle IMO.

Me thinks you seriously undervalue the upset by Pitt in that game. WVU, ranked #2 and rolling along, was a 20 point favorite. nobody seen that coming..

Won't hear of any other teams able to beat Bama. They are already set up for a 4th NC. 2 penalties for 10 yd average will get you to the NC. Its all Nick. Why should Bama get the credit?

He always gets bored sooner or later. But yea. The media, SEC officials, commissioners, are all mesmerized by Saban. Its all about him not the University. So its Nick winning the NC's not Bama.

His foot stomping and yelling to have it his way goes a long way in his success.
