Just checked the roster.
I didn't realize that Copeland and Ford are Juniors
Also, Dickson is just a sophomore
Also, Blue will play as a Junior, right?

On D, did I hear the announcers correctly state that only 4 of our defensive starters are seniors?
Mingo and Big Sam are Juniors that may leave early?

I don't think our D line (interior) will be hurt, matter of fact I prefer the younger guys over the vets. Lavar has shown he's a very capable DE as well. I guess the other DE is Rasco?

Why would 99 stick around? He's top 5 projected

On the contrary, the entire starting DLine is probably gone as are Lavar and Chancey who are both seniors. We have severe depth problems on the DLine unless Mickey Johnson and Quinten Thomas turn out well. Also, at DE we will have one proven guy - Rasco. Our other starter and backups will be guys who have had almost no PT. this is the biggest, and only, concern for next year's team.

I don't keep up with projections, ,, but I just don't see this top 5 thing.

He's not a dominant player.
Listed at 6'5 260... He doesn't look that tall or that heavy.
I like Sam montgomery as much as anyone here, but at times I think y'all listen to herbstreit too much.

He's a good college player that could grow into a good pro DE.
Actually size wise and skill he reminds me a lot Rahim alem.
Not a Gabe northern or Tyson Jackson.
But hey,if he gets opp to make that kind of money and feels like that's what's best for him, then good luck to him and thanks for the effort and contributions.

Sam Montgomery and Barkevious Mingo at the start of the season were both Top 5 on the Big Board. Since then they have fallen off.

Projections 2 weeks ago had both as mid to mid late 1st round picks. Sam to the Saints. Mingo to the Jets.

Reid is most likely gone. Rumors are he's graduating in 3 years. He is a late 1st rounder last I saw. And he has a daughter.

Logan and Simon should return and improve. Unless reason I could see them leaving is if they need the money.

Minter could leave. Just depends who's in his ear. He could return and be the #1 LB in the nation next year. He's look at 3rd round or later maybe.

A lot of our offense should return. We lose Dworcazyck, Lonergan, and Shep. Any idea if Chris Faulk returns next year?

Rumors were that Blue could leave and go pro. Idk about that.

IMO I think he would be better to stay in school, with being hurt this year I am sure his stock is down, a good year next year could make a big difference

Thanks but no thanks. Your credibility on players' talent and ability was lost long ago. It has been proven to be colored by you personal preferences. Anybody who would listen to anything you say will be a lost soul.

So we should listen to TIGRLEE instead, right?

Virtually all of the mock drafts have Montgomery in the top 10. I am unaware of Herbstreit doing mock drafts. I would assume a top 10 draft pick defensive lineman would be considered dominant. He is number 5 in sacks in the SEC, which is known for dominant D linemen and there are 24 DEs starting in the SEC, including probably double digit first two round draftees.

I could see Sam going early, but Mingo is too light to play DE in the pros. The only way he should leave early is if he plans to play outside LB.

Lost?

Why bc of me always saying JL > JJ?

Idont have any personL preferences regarding 99, just believe another year of collegitae physical and playing maturity would benefit him.

Don't hate pal, it's the holiday season.
