That's usually what I say too reading some of the humor and meltdowns on here. Unfortunately, I decided to actually try to converse and got caught in this s&%^#-storm.

That's what I get for trying.

Fear, you'd be surprised who "looks in" on your corner. And other NOH corners out there too.

Seriously.

Woah there. He can sink it with the best of them, but he seems to have an ugly hitch in his shot and sort of releases it from his shoulders and not above his head.

Monty deserves better and I hope he gets healthy soon and can contribute.

Agreed. Monty is such a good coach and the lack of talent, especially due to injuries, gives him a bad coaching record. At least it's good that the organization recognized it and extended him. I think he can do wonders with just some semblance of healthy talent on this roster. Hell, he took the Spurs to the wire on opening night.

Deal with it.

Of course, I am upset that he is absent, but I'm not angry at him because of it.

this is where we part ways. maybe if it wasnt for his restricted free agency antics i may feel different but that combined with this seemingly permanent injury problem i just can say i like the guy right now

Still to this day I wonder if EG knows what the R in RFA means.

SaintsFan, that's easy. Bruce Willis 2 years ago during Lakers game. I asked about his movie he was making in NOLA, and he barely answered. Tried to change topic to go to game, and he started talking college hoops and bracket busters (game was in March). So I tried to go down that road too... eventually I tried to ask him about NOLA and music in the city and referenced he played music... yeah, just didn't go well at all.
Later, I heard he did one with the Lakers b'cast that was even stranger... but theirs didn't get posted. Our interview was all over the place in 5 minutes! It was strange.

(movie he was making was Red)

Months later (after we all thought he had been drinking) we were told he had had a surgical procedure that day, and the medication + the drink or two he had at the game had him all loopy.

Two games later interviewed John Malkovich - who was also in that same movie - and he could not have been nicer!!

I understand completely, and as I've said before, I do not agree with what he did this offseason and think that he was very childish and out of line, but at the same time I could understand why he wanted out. He didn't have any sort of ties to NOLA, and Phoenix basically told him they wanted him more with the cornerstone and orange carpet bullshite as well as offering him the max contract. All of this will be forgotten if he gets on the court and produces, though.

Oh man, I remember that. Willis made it seem that he felt bothered by getting interviewed. It was definitely awkward to watch on TV.

tehchampion, if/when you get the chance, go watch EG shoot from behind him and watch the rotation. I'm telling you it comes off of his hand so pure and the rotation is incredible. I agree with you he has a hitch, but it usually doesn't affect the shot. When he squares up, it is as good as it gets.

Unfortunately the home crowd hasn't been able to see enough of it.

Do you remember end of last season vs. San An and he poured in 30+ and 15 in one quarter?

Ok, I see what you are saying. I thought you meant in terms of form.

The only individual thing I remember about him last season was the game winner against Phoenix (ironic, huh? ). But I do remember him making a huge impact on both sides of the court for the 9 games that he was healthy. It's going to be a huge difference in play from this team when he and AD can be healthy at the same time. EG isn't to bad of a passer, either, so I can see him making some lob connections to the Brow.

Monty is fantastic. He can REALLY coach them up. He deserved that extension and when he can get Davis back and healthy, Gordon (finally) on the floor, and have a full arsenal, watch out.

His 1st season took Lakers to 6 (and yes I know who was on that roster and that certainly helped, but they had to play under him too)... and last year, despite the troubles, took San Antonio to the wire 4 times (best record in NBA), lost to LAL in LA by single digits, beat the Clippers and Celtics, crushed Orlando with Dwight, and gave Knicks 1st loss of the Lin-sanity craze.

Excellent points, Vic. I agree. If I have to watch that bleached blonde cowboy douche with the big head talk about the Hornets on FSN again I may puke. The guy should wear a bolo tie and a cowboy hat during his segments. Makes me yearn for a Fletcher Mackel video blog
