Just ate at the one in Birmingham...one of my favorite restaurants on the planet.

I know the other ones are in LA...so what is the F&D Board's opinion of Superior?

(Superior Enchiladas FTW)

Bland and too expensive for what you get. Not to mention the ridiculous wait. Amazes me how crowded the place is when the food is mediocre and expensive.

I haven't been in a while. My recollection is that it's neither great nor as terrible as the people here would have you believe.

Decent food. Overpriced. I don't get all the hate.

My wife and her family love the place, so they usually take us there when they are in Baton Rouge. I like it well enough. The margaritas are strong and the atmosphere is pretty good.

It's still allowed to be good.

I've always enjoyed it too. People on here will make you think the only good Mexican food is a locally owned joint off the highway in Juarez.

Superior is good.

Chips/salsa and margaritas are good, but the rest of the food is just okay.

Well, it's not true Mexican food, FWIW. It's Tex-Mex.

Prepare your anus.

The place is complete garbage. I guess it would be ok for a shithole town that only has chains.

Best restaurant Rita's if ever had.

Food is decent. If i lived closer to one, I'd go a lot more.

Love Casa Garcia on the Northshore.

Its usually busy so the wait is the worst thing. Good food for the price imo. I don't get where everyone says its expensive? Its really no different than others.

Food is no better than decent. The food and drinks are overpriced for regular Mexican

What's your point? The place is packed. So is Chili's.

Superior Grill is an abortion of a restaurant. it is truly terrible.
