looking at the instructions im not seeing how to if there is a way.

You need this or to use the audio out on your tv.


eta: I'm assuming xbox here. If so you should be aware of this issue.

Just take apart your your component cable piece that goes into your xbox with a knife or something and you should be able to squueze and hdmi and the component cable in there

dont have the audio out on either of the tv's i use. oh well looks like im returning it.
