I think that proves what we have said all along. Some of these Oklahoma St (2012) type teams would be 2 or 3 loss teams in the SEC.
how exactly does that prove that again?

TCU's record the last 6 years in the MWC:

11-2
13-0
12-1
11-2
11-2
11-1

TCU's record this year in the BIG 12

7-4. Coincidence??? I think not.

But you are forgetting the fact that TCU has never had this young of a team before. In all those years above, the team was led by upperclassmen. This year the starters are 70% freshman.

The last time TCU had to play so many freshman was 2007, when Dalton was a freshman and they went 7-5 and 4-4 in the Mountain West.

What does Oklahoma ST's 2012 have to do with anything? A&M was never close to achieving what Oklahoma St. did last season.

Basically, A&M looks exactly like a 2012 Oklahoma St or a 2013 Kansas St. I would say that if they were in the Big 12 this year that they would have no more than 1 loss. In the SEC, they are currently in 5th place overall.

They rank 5th in the entire SEC right now.

They rank 5 out of 14 teams in the SEC.

Last season they ranked 7th out of 10 teams with 6 players off that roster now playing on Sundays.

Because A&M had two losses to good SEC teams by early October. They didn't get to pad their record against the no defense Big 12 teams.

Completely new coaching staff.

How is Ohio St doing this year with their new coach?

Coaches matter!

Bad Analogy. They're benefiting from an entire conference being wayyyyy down at the same time. OSU is not that good of a football team.

Why you ?

Oklahoma St would not have made it to 9-0, or 10-0, whatever they got to last year if they had to play teams with a defense. How bad did they beat the 2nd best PAC 12 team in a bowl game?

I would say they would have 3-4 losses in the Big 12. Best offense they faced put up 57 on them, and they needed all 59 points to win. Now imagine what Baylor, WVU, Oklahoma puts up on them.

It's hilarious how everyone is slobbish A&M's knob when fact of the matter is, they beat alot of bad SEC teams and pulled an upset over a Bama team that is way too slow defensive to defend against the spread.

A&M signature win is on the road against Bama. Their 3 other SEC wins comes against teams likely NOT going bowling, Ole Miss, Auburn, & Arkansas.

Then you factor in a 4th SEC win over Mizzou, another team not going bowling, and you see the truth behind that 6-2 SEC record.
Throw in 4 rent a wins over LTU, SMU, SCSU, and Sam Houston and you have the most over hyped 10-2 team in the country.

All in all, the SEC is top heavy, with a plethora of suck below. Who knows how good teams like Scar, A&M, even UGA & UF are. The top of the SEC is good. The middle half, like A&M, are living off the SEC's reputation. In a normal year, A&M is probably a 4-5 loss SEC team.

SEC strength is becoming a huge farce this year built upon non existing OOC schedules and bottom dwellers.

As bad as our 2nd half collapses were last year, we didn't blow a 17 point 4th quarter lead to Iowa State.

3+1 = 4. We have 5 SEC wins...or did you forget when we raped the Bulldogs in Starkville?

Its 6 in the morning. I should have said 3 of their other SEC wins.

But beating a 7-5/8-4 MSU team is nothing to pound your chest about, although it is your 2nd best SEC win. So out of 6 potential SEC victories(counting Mizzou), you have 2 victories over teams going bowling, with possibly a 3rd if Ole Miss beats State to end up at 6-6.

Don't know about all this "who's the better conference" smack but TCU is going to be a top tier Big 12 team as long as Patterson is around.

UT fans point to how young the horns are but we saw TCU freshmen physically dominate them on both sides last night. To add fuel to fire these are guys not recruited by Mack.
