Not only that... But the protection AMEX offers is easily worth it even if I didn't receive the "rewards"

hit up the visa barclay nfl card. $400 statement credit when you spend $1000 in 90 days.

Why would anyone need a 20k credit card limit?

I know a guy that travels overseas with his family and back every couple months for work. His work then pays back him for all his travel expenses. Very easy for him to put $17k on the card with one swipe.

He's some kind of high up for Exxon

You do understand you don't pay interest on credit cards you pay off each month and you get "rewards" for using a credit card right???

as most grocery companies operate on a 2-5% net margin. Just curious

try .5% to 1%

The grocery store isn't paying your rewards...

Grocery stores would go out of business if the did not accept credit cards

But I agree... The credit card industry is not a free market

What are the rules on places charging more for credit vs cash purchases?

I know some places give a cash discount, certain gas stations do

I thought the credit card companies had something against this but it may depend on the wording

If I could save more using cash, I probably would

Got this. They're also offering a $50 bonus per month from December to February if you spend $500 each month

I believe you can offer a lower price for cash... But cannot make customers pay a fee to use a cc

This is another great reason I use my MC for everything. The extended warranty, fraud protection, and even accidental damage/theft/loss replacement are easily worth any savings you might see from using cash (I haven't encountered this scenario, though I'm aware it exists, ie gas stations).

DISNEY CHASE rewards card

10k limit on mine. Could probably go even higher if I requested it.

Just ordered this one. Hopefully they start me off higher than 5,000.
