The New Orleans Saints needed help at tackle with the recent injuries to tackles Zach Strief and Charles Brown. So the Saints signed tackle William Robinson and waived wide receiver Greg Camarillo, according to a league source.

Strief, the Saints' starting right tackle, missed the last two games with a groin injury. Brown, who replaced Strief in the starting lineup, left the Raiders game with a knee injury. It's a possibility neither player will be available for Sunday's home game against San Francisco.

he was on the Saints PS last year, even got promoted to the 53 for a few games. Released and picked up by the Jags and cut in the spring. Should have some familiarity as an emergency type pick up.

Poor Greg Camarillo. Dude must feel like shite knowing he's got waived every other week.

I'm worried that Aldon will get 4 sacks Sunday.

Not good, particularly against San Fran.

His game checks, even at the Vet minimum, are still more than many people make in several months. And he's not doing anything more lucrative, I assume.

I worked with a guy once who floated from entry level job to entry level job when he wasn't an NFL camp body in the summer. He'd have loved to get a part time call up. I think most guys on the bubble realize they're on the bubble and are grateful for every snap and paycheck they get.

Exactly. I'm sure the team had a conversation with him at some point in the season explaining that this would happen, and I'm sure not one frick was given by him. Like others said, the 6-8 game checks he gets a year is more than he would be making not playing football, and more than any of us that don't post on the OT make.

a year on the practice squad gets ya over $90K. I always say chase the dream. It's still better than working jobs in the real world.

Especially since you are off for several months and don't have to worry about getting your body beat to shite.
