He looked like a complete slob with his hair all over the place. All I could think was that if I eat at his restaurant, there's going to be hair in my food. Looked like he just crawled out of bed, no shower, no nothing. His appearance was disturbing, but that has nothing to do with the show.
. You're being too kind, as usual. The dude looked like he crawled out from under a European bridge....a troll, I tell you....a troll. I'm damn sure they used camera angles to hide his hunch back.

Honestly, a friend and I were both talking about that and pre-show, it was on our lists. Post-show, I lost my desire. I follow him on Facebook also and, lately, that's contributed to my disinterest as well.

I hear it's the executive chef from Latil's Landing at Houmas House, Jeremy Langlois.

I don't like how overproduced this show is.

It irks me.

You just have to accept it for what it is. I used to get annoyed at how much they played up story lines and really produced every detail, but then I realized it isn't going to change and I just take it as is now. Makes like much more enjoyable.

Not a douche, but sometimes things he writes are a turnoff. I was following the opening of his restaurant and posted several articles here on it, but I've lost interest. I've followed his career for a whole. Strange dude. He was with the far out author PoppyZ Brite for years. She is gay, but is a female who believes herself to be a man and is now making that transformation after years. He's gay, but was with PZB. I don't know what you call all of that. She left him for another gay dude. Has zero to do with his cooking abilities. She writes all the details in her own blog. Used to read it when she talked more about food. He seems like a good guy, but he should clean up a bit for the restaurant biz in my opinion.

I just can't believe they are all plating with 10 seconds to go, every time. Every contestant.

But yeah I know what you mean.

Wow that's a lot of in-depth info. You seem to be the authority on this guy.

Nah. Just used to read their blogs and I rad one of books based on restaurants in NO. Fiction. He was getting a lot of great reviews on the New Orleans forums that used to be very active when he was at Delachaise.

I've never really thought about restaurants in terms of the personality of the chef. Never really delved that deep into a place. Interesting way to approach eating though. I will have to do more of that.
