My friend is coming in from out of state this weekend and I planned on taking him on a duck hunting trip. He is over 18 and hasn't taken hunter's safety. I was wondering if there is anyway of him getting a one day NR license without having hunter's ed certification? He will be with me the whole trip and I'm over 18 and have a license.

ETA: In Louisiana

If he is hunting with you, like next to you in the same blind, he does not need H/S. If you search around on the LADWF website this is stated as fact...

I think you can still get a one time waiver on this...

used to run a small commercial operation - we had one of these a week....
