guppy LSU Fan Member since Mar 2011 141 posts Online	Hunter's Ed/License Question (Posted on 11/20/12 at 6:37 pm) My friend is coming in from out of state this weekend and I planned on taking him on a duck hunting trip. He is over 18 and hasn't taken hunter's safety. I was wondering if there is anyway of him getting a one day NR license without having hunter's ed certification? He will be with me the whole trip and I'm over 18 and have a license. ETA: In Louisiana This post was edited on 11/20 at 6:38 pm

If you search around on the LADWF website this is stated as fact...

I think you can still get a one time waiver on this... used to run a small commercial operation - we had one of these a week....
