yeah, he tried but was no where close to meeting the academic standards. Also, Thon would never go to UNO. Corchiani couldn't pay him any amount of money for him to play at UNO.

Damn. Im assuming you went there, when did you graduate?

Indeed, graduated before your time though. I'm dating the sister of one of your classmates actually

I know the dad of a kid on the team. He always says how terrible the kid is. He's just tall.

Hopefully he develops a great big man game.

It's funny, you would expect this to be the case with a 7 foot 14 year old. But for Thon it's not. he's is one of the better shooters on the team and sometimes brings the ball up the court. really his only downside is the fact that he is so skinny, he can't be as physical as he would like. otherwise his post game is pretty good.

Slessinger might build something worth watching by the time he makes his choice

yea a 7 foot freshman who can hit threes is terrible He's been averaging double figures right out the gate. High school post players, especially frsehman, dont have a Kevin McHale post game from day 1. Give him some time

i understand that's what the article said, but I'm almost certain he will go to high school in the states. He has in fact left Country Day, and is in Virginia right now.

College basketball recruiting is so fricking shady.

This kid will end up at NC St.

ETA: Those two statements aren't necessarily related.
