Dinardo didn't win like Franklin. Franklin will have Vandy in back-to-back bowl games. Dinardo never won more than 5 games in a year at Vandy.

Doesn't make sense to me. But we will see.

I wouldn't mind it necessarily, but there is a lot hanging over his head.

As an LSU fan, Franklin scares me much more than Gruden. He has 9 4*'s committed this year. That is crazy and the guy coaches up his players.

He will be a top hire for someone. He has 5 SEC wins this year.

I hate Jeff Long, if he did not have a coach signed sealed and delivered months ago then he should be Fired. He had to realize that finding a coach now would be impossible with a lot of openings. It should have been his job to find the coach identify him and move on.

Somehow, al beit I could be wrong. I would think Long had his coach months ago and is just setting back laughing at all these rumors and bullchit being thrown around all over talk shows and the internet. He has to be getting a kick out of it.

who do you think has the rumors started? It's not a coincidence that every time we have a coaching search that everyone is on to 3 or 4 names and non of them were even really finalist.

You're a fricking moron.

Which coaches were available, months ago, which could be signed, sealed, and delivered?

THIS IS THE ONLY frickING TIME YOU CAN HIRE A COACH.

from the looks of Franklin, he's going to be great. Vandy isn't winning by being the underdog and upsetting teams anymore, they are actually able to compete with you straight up. They are fundamentally sound, play an aggressive offense and defense, and from what i've seen he's a great face of the program except for the occasional outburst but do you really want a boring dude as our head coach?

Franklin would be a great hire, would love to have him, especially if most of his class follows.

You mean if he doesn't have one locked up we could be looking at another year with an interim HC?

Mark Richt has lost control of the Arkansas program.

I think this would be a good hire. James Franklin is a guy that I would be interested for LSU if he got another year or two of experience and continued to do well if we were looking for a coach for whatever reason.

I think Franklin would be one of the best hires Arky can make...but not sure if he'd leave Vandy for Arky honestly
