I think they go 10-6 losing 1 to Minnesota, Green Bay, and Detroit to end the season. If they beat Seattle they will get in over them.

Yes, unless Cutler is out for an extended period.

Have they said when Cutler will come back? If they start dropping games the Saints could be up for that 5 seed

If Cutler doesn't come back soon, no they don't.

Cutler is an asset, not a liability. People who know football know this.

I agree but that doesn't mean they won't drop games with him in there. Cutler is an asset. Mike Tice is a huge liability.

They make the playoffs. Seems like the line is just aweful, no matter who the QB is.

after that beating they took last night, I'd be surprised if they didn't come out swinging and thump the Vikings this Sunday.

I think they could beat Seattle since they play them at home. The Seahawks will probably beat the Dolphins on the road this Sunday. They go to Chicago after that and I don't see them winning two in a row on the road. They haven't been that good of a road team all year really.

but if Cutler misses either of these games, I think they are in trouble.

Is he a reason for not making the playoffs, or his injury?

Either way, I say yes. They always struggle against a team with a great pass rush. And if they don't simply try to improve the offensive line this off-season, they might get Cutler killed. We've seen Jason Campbell and Jay Cutler get mauled plenty of time this year. It's becoming a bad trend. Still think they will make the playoffs.

I need them to beat the Vikings, but I don't know that it will be an easy win

They are what, 7-3 now? They need to go 2-4 to have a shot, 3-3 likely gets them in no matter what. I think they should be able to do that

They haven't been terrible. They've been average. Cutler and Marshall are dangerous. Bears offense traditionally has not been big on showy numbers and high scores.

Against the lions on MNF they only scored 13 points. 9/10 times you will lose no matter how awesome your defense is.

Their defense sets up their offense to look better than it is, but I've watched six of their games this season and it is the same story every time.

With Cutler they make it, with out Cutler they do not make it.

Cutler does not get enough credit for playing behind that piece of shite they call an offensive line.

while all that may be true, teams make the playoffs based on W/L record, not whether their offense is deemed to be good or not. At 7-3, they'd have to go 1-5 to not make it. look at the other WC contenders, it's not likely more than 2 are better than 9-7.

It would be a monumental collapse to be sure but it is very possible 2-4 puts them out

Seattle, bucs, Vikings and saints all could win out or own a tie breaker over them at 10-6 or 9-7
