God y'all are fricking ridiculous. Do you not think that this goes on at every college football game across the country? Students (and other drunk non-students ALL OVER the stadium) say cuss words. In unison. I've sat all over the stadium and heard it everywhere. It happens, and it's not tarnishing LSU's reputation anymore than it tarnishes any other school's reputation.
Complaining about it obviously does NOTHING to help the situation. It actually makes it worse. Give it a rest.

This! I have a degree in music, and find that song to be an exercise in futility. Those arbitrarily obtuse odd-beat accents combine with the fact that the stadium is big enough so the distance sound has travelled affects timing to GAURANTEE a train-wreck. You wanna ban a song? Throw this one out, and replace it with something with a backbeat groove..."Do Whatcha Wanna", anyone?

Sure about that? Wisconsin's students do a twist on the old "Tastes Great. Less Filling" routine from the 80s. 1 section yells "Eat sh_t!" @ another section. The other section replies w/ "F_ck you!" This banter goes back & forth for minutes. College kids say the stupidest things.

What song was it? Because sitting in 103 row 11, you could hear it CLEARLY, what song was it?
Also goes to show that no matter what song you ban, those crafty students will find another song to do the hand motions and say the line in question, and repeat it 4-5 times to the disgust off all the women around us.
Since that profane line and hand motions will be infused in any other song they can put it in, might as well bring back Neck bc that song gets the crowd loose and I loved it the past few years before it got banned.
Why not bring back Neck bc it seems to no matter what song it is, the students WILL infuse it on a song of their choice.
This is great, get Death Valley back in the valley for EVERY game not just the big one. At least this way people that want to stay will stay. Keep up the profanities!

To all the people hating on the student section for chanting it, go cheer for another school. If y'all are so embarrassed by it, an easy solution is to just stop coming to games and wear some ugly arse houndstooth and red while you make out with your sister. We don't cheer it because of some stupid political bullshite, we cheer it because its fun. I can see how you don't see it as being fun, I'm not sure I'd enjoy it being outcast to the old folks sections not being up to date on the latest student trends trying to savor what youth I have left in my few remaining years of being middle aged. For decades LSU has been notorious for being one of the most obnoxious fanbases in all of sports, so if you really want to save your reputation from being vulgar or profane, you're really lost cheering for this school in the first place.

I can hear student vulgarities on the east and west side and in the northeast corner. I've never sat in the south so I cannot speak for that end of the stadium.

When I was in band, I hated that stupid arse chant
Now that I'm in the Student Section, it is pretty fun, especially when a huge momentum swing in our favor just occurred.
