Anyone hunting in South Texas?

Around Freer? Whats the movement been like down there?

It's been pretty warm so far this year down there, haven't seen much of any rutting activity yet. We are in Tilden, about 35 miles north of Freer.

Figured so, headed down this weekend for my third trip. It was miserably hot a few weeks ago and we saw very minimal movement.

Not to mention that we have an abundance of vegetation out there for them still.

We are in a little warming snap right now. Temperatures yesterday were in the mid to upper 80s and high 70s the rest of the week. I would not expect it to get better this week.

Also a problem. We need a cold snap to come through in the worst way and freeze everything...but that probably wont happen until mid December
