Who would hire him other than Kentucky? He's not going to get Arkansas, Auburn, or Tennessee

He is a very good recruiter. Incredible at times. Would love Bama to hire him. He may end up as a very high paid assistant at an SEC school before Jan 1, 2013.
He's not an HC, but he's a good football coach and heckuva recruiter.

Maybe as a DC....not as a head coach. If you can't win at Florida, you certainly can't win at UK

I wish LSU wouldve hired him as our db coach.
Then again I wouldve loved for Les to hire Tim Brewster as our TE coach and that didnt happen either....

He won at Florida, just not enough for their standards.
I actually think Zook would be a good fit for Kentucky. A young hotshot ain't staying at Kentucky for the long haul. Zook will get you your bowl game every 2-3 years, which is about all you can hope for at UK.

He was 6-2, 6-2 and 4-4 in conference play from '02-'04.
Those numbers are A LOT better than I initially thought. Then the trainwreck @ Illinois came - 2 winning seasons between 05-11
