1999: LSU about to make coaching change to permanently improve the program beats heavily favored Arkansas in final game of season. Saban hired.

2012: Arkansas about to make coaching change to permanently improve the program beats heavily favored LSU in final game of season. Gruden hired.

Probably not, but lets not forget 1999. It could happen to us.

I don't know. Tonight we're gonna party like it's 2012 just doesn't have as good a ring to it.

Also, the Y2K13 bug would just be silly.

Won't happen and that is too bad, considering that this post is on par with most of his other posts.

Didn't this already happen in 2007 when they beat us then hired Petrino?

The idea here is that LSU needs to take this game seriously, and be better prepared than they were last week against a pretty medicore Ole Miss squad. So the Tigers don't let history repeat itself in reverse from 1999.

The Tigers should win, but better be ready to play, esp. at Ark., who have nothing to lose and should throw everything at the Tigers.

Not even the slightes comparison. Players were sick of Dinardo and happy to play for Hal Hunter and glad that Dinardo was gone after the Ole MIss and U of Houston debacles. Arky has known since the beginning of the year that Johnelle Smith was not going to be their next Head Coach. Just dont see the comparisons at all. Can they beat us, Well yes that's why the game is still played but just dont see any similarities between LSU in 1999 and Arky in 2012.

LSU was fighting the whole way in '99, Arky hasn't been. Get up on them 14-0 and they're gonna start cleaning out their lockers at halftime.

Why some posters here are either negative or suffer from inferiority complex? Even if it happens, what is the value of posting such a negative stuff?

OP is just plain Forest Gump dumb.
