If Arizona would have won yesterday, I would have been convinced that 11-5 would win the division.

He's correct... assuming the Giants don't turn it on in the next couple of weeks.

11-5 can still win the division.

big difference between "would" and "can still".

Especially when teams always seem to go full retard against the Falcons

I'd feel that way too had the cardinals won. but we need to win out and have atl drop 3 additional games

their schedule is a cake walk compared to ours, and I'm nervous as frick about playing them on thursday night even though we've dominated them. I hate when people say someone is "due" for something but that is what it feels like for them against us.

Though I know we can win out, it is still not an enviable position to have no room for error

If the running game keeps it up, and the defense is able to make a few stops, then there isn't a team in the league that can beat us, but ourselves.

If cards win, I'd feel much better, but ATL will finish 13-3 or 12-4.

yeah but even the best team can drop a game, the 0-4 start is going to make the rest of the season nerve racking unless we drop a game (which would send me into meltdown)

these next 3 are must have and no matter how well the saints are playing or how poor their opponent may be, weird shite happens in the NFL and the Saints cannot afford any of that weird shite happening to them

niners
falcons
giants

brutal stretch

pretty much, last week was exactly the best i can hope for for them against wildcard contending teams

play like shite, hysterical 5 int performance, but get the w and help the saints out in the wc chase

Especially on a short week with the Falcons, and away. If we make it through those two, I think we'll be fine. We'll have an extra couple days to prepare for that Giants, and while we've shown the ability to lose to any team in the league, the Bucs, Cowboys, and Panthers don't scare me.

it should, the bucs are a good football team, we haven't really dominated the cowboys since 06 and the panthers beat us

I'm probably more worried about getting to 8-5 and then blowing it to one of these fricking teams

ETA: throw in the river city relay, and you have one cautious saints fan. I was worried about the raiders and I couldn't relax until the time left said 00:00
