Has anyone else seen this creepy arse movie?

Thoughts?

I liked it, but I thought the symbolism was a little over the top

The book is better than the movie.

Kevin was just born evil and had all of the signs of being a classic sociopath. He is painted in somewhat of a more sympathetic light in the novel though.

I dug it, but I didn't understand why the entire town was being an a-hole to the mom, considering she was a victim too. I mean, if the people of Littleton, CO can rally around Dylan Klebold's parents (Columbine shooter) and support them, you would think that these folks could do the same.

I ended up liking it by the end, but the first ~20 minutes or so were really, REALLY bad, and I think it would have been better cutting it out.

I thought that as well

That poor second child got fricked

If they really wanted to be fricked up they should have shown how John C Reilly and the kid die

Just wanted to add...yes, I too hated it.

In fact, I watched the first 30 minutes...fast-forwarded to the last 30.

Didn't ease my pain.

They did. He shot them with arrows.

Do you mean actually showing him kill them?

It's just human nature I suppose. They couldn't get to Kevin so they made life hell for his mom.

Speaking of the Klebolds, did you read that interview with his mom? I can't imagine how hard it was for her to admit that she prayed that her son would die before he could hurt any more people.

Thought it was a good yet depressing psychological drama. Liked its use of chronology and Tilda Swinton was outstanding.

I liked it. When he kept masturbating while looking his mother dead in the eyes...that was freaky

But she paused and didn't look away either
