Supposedly one of the reasons they fired him when they did was they knew if he won some games on that home stand it would have been tougher to fire him

So they canned brown knowing they wet about to win some games that could have prolonged his job

Was about to post this. Wins over Sacramento, GS, Phoenix, and Portland. Game at Memphis on Friday with D'Antoni probably coaching should be a good one.

They fired Brown right before this stretch because they knew they wanted him gone and they didn't want him to win several games and make it harder to let him go.

The Lakers will be good eventually IMO but this stretch of the season tells you pretty much nothing
