It's NDSU as the favorite. They won it last year, so I'm picking them. It's also a homer pick.

My sons school (ODU) is the 4 seed.

Plus my hometown school ( Mount Union) is going to go all the way in DIII this year.

Don't they win it just about every year?

Yes they do.

Larry Kehres is 317-24-3 for a .924 winning percentage with 10 DIII national championships.

He's going after rings for his toes now.

Tough matchup in the first game for Sam Houston St drawing Cal Poly. Also, Stony Brook is my sleeper pick to make some noise. If they can get past Villanova, the game @ Montana St could shape up as one of the best this year.

Damn, Northern Arizona lost their last 2 games to miss out after an 8-1 start. I'll root for New Hampshire.

ODU got good very quickly and in a very tough conference to boot. Really pretty amazing how talented that roster has gotten in only about 6-7 years of existence.

I root for Mt Union but Wisconson-Whitewater(I believe) has had there number the last few years. Still primarily a 2 team race in D3.

Obviously the Bison are my pick. Would love to face SHSU again in the title game or EWU(lets just say we have a score to settle with the Eagles).

That said we have a tough road to get there, especially since our first game might be against our rivals SDSU who we just played a week ago.

If ODU can just get second tier talent from the Tidewater area they'll do well.

Whitewater lost 3 games this year and didn't make the playoffs. Their run may be over. Mount Union just keeps churning along. They were 3-3 against Whitewater in title games.
