Same reason I've been boycotting it.

At least you have a legitimate reason.

I don't think their brunch menu sucks. i think it's very overpriced, that's for sure.

eta: i'm not sure i've ever had a mexican meal in a restaurant that overwhelmed me.

I'm boycotting them because they don't cook down the fajita veggies and they stick one tiny piece of a raw pepper on top of their bland unseasoned chicken.

I ask them and they do it.

Same here. 90% of the time I feel like my McCormick taco/fajita seasoning plus whatever else I do to make my tacos is just as good or better, and much much cheaper

I am boycotting them b/c they are too far from my house and Houston has plenty of Tex-Mex.

Circa 199X, that place was rocking though. I remember a buffet and 2 for 1 margaritas....and the wait staff was certainly more courteous on the highways.

The food and drinks are definitely overpriced and none of the food is very good. But it is always packed

I had a flank steak at superior that was phenomenal. I will be back at some point if only for that.

This. I'm old and have lived away from BR for too long, but I'm always dismayed to hear about how once decent places have fallen. Though the food there was never great, by any means, it was pretty good, and that was the place to be at one point.

It's the same it's always been. People on this board somehow convince themselves that every single restaurant that they used to go to is miraculously different from its former self. It's not.
