Thanks - that was already mentioned in the original post.

Sorry, didn't see the "steal" part and thought the rule was worth mentioning since most posters think #4 is automatic.

Scott Rabalais has been tweeting he sees the Sugar picking us up over A&M. I tend to agree.

I would hope, but I just don't see what the Sugar gets out of having LSU over A&M. They can have us anytime and did (in the Super Dome anyway) in 2001, 2003, 2006, 2007, and 2011. When will they get another chance at A&M?

A&M would sell as many (or more tickets) and also could showcase the potential Heisman trophy winner.

You know the 4 team playoff doesn't start next year, right?

Why are you saying "last year"?

The way I understand it there will be no "BCS" and a bunch of old men will determine the NC. Is this not true?

I think that's two years from now though and not next year.

Thanks lsumatt.

What i get from this is, we better start looking at dallas, or orlando, or tampa. Bama isn't likely at all to lose to Auburn, and that is the lynchpin.

I'd have to think that the computers like Florida more than Alabama.. and that shouldn't change with Alabama beating UGA and UF beating FSU.

Any scenarios where Alabama wins ugly at either Auburn/UGA (or both) and Florida would be #3 right on top of them.. and it comes down to the human vote (which Florida has no chance in..)

Oregon loses to either UCLA/Oregon St, Florida stomps FSU, jumps to #3.. Alabama plays ugly.. and it comes down to a bunch of old men. As far as resume goes.. Florida is the clear winner.

Alabama would easily be able to overcome any deficit they would have in the computers. Voters will probably put Bama unanimously over Florida.

Sugar won't pick A&M over LSU....Fiesta probably would have, but that's out, but Sugar will definitely take LSU over A&M.

If all things were "equal" and/or A&M had an edge, they probably would, but considering LSU will be ranked higher and won the head-to-head, there is little if any chance Sugar take A&M over LSU.
