Of course the punt return is big... but what about the red zone series by the D several series after that... Ole Miss' last real drive... starting about 6:00 left in the game

1st & 10 at the LSU 16... OM runs for a loss of 2 yds

then back-to-back big sacks by Johnson (11 yd loss) and Edwards (7 yd loss)

OM tried a 53 yd FG which was wide and LSU went on the game-winning TD march

Sure the D had a bad night by practically all standards... but stepped up big when needed the most

Sack by Edwards was huge, thought a sack would seal the deal in regards to Ole Miss not getting points that drive but figured the odds weren't with us for back to back sacks.

I was particularly impressed by our performance after Simon's interception where we started our drive at OM's 20 and ended up kicking a 24 yard field goal.

Our redzone offense is dismal...

I am sure this sounded very intellectual, stimulating and witty in your mind but it is just a pompous silly statement in a thread meant to discuss totally different issues.

I thought Ole Miss passing on that 3rd down was a terrible call...it was 3rd and like 23...they should have run it, picked up 5-10 yards and then kicked the FG...second sack was a killer for them...

Mingo being off side has continued to be big at important moments ...

The offside on the Ole Miss 3 was huge...then went 97 after
