But the picture I posted of the 6 minute mark clearly shows that it is 70-75% full.

That's just it. But I respect Geauxtro for admitting the truth about what these superfans are saying:

Truth doesn't matter.

This epitomizes the LSU fanbase.

complain about Mett...complain about Miles...complain about OLine...complain about WRs...complain about Chavis's defense...now it's compain about the LSU fanbase, the same fanbase that just pack 93000+ into as emotional of a rollercoaster game as I have ever seen, proved Tiger Stadium is the single greatest stadium in CFB.....

At what point can we just be happy with the product and enjoy it without people trying to find faults. Seriously, balanced offense, nasty defense, young talent, 8-2 record, potential BCS bowl, widely-known as having one of the greatest fanbases in the country, known as having the greatest stadium in the country. Stop and smell the roses a bit and stop pissing on other's cornflakes.

Truth be told, noone pays attention to the announcers in a game where you never felt LSU was in danger of losing. Recruits aren't intently listening to announcers......they do get on FB. Gordy typing dumb shite like that does more damage than the stadium emptying out early, imo.

So our recruits aren't watching games on national TV and listening to the announcers but are friends with Gordy Rush on Facebook? We need new recruits.

Gentlemen I have to leave for the game and I'm getting too old to read this on bb. I think that since you take the time to debate this issue that you are all super fans in one way or another!

There isn't contra flow on nicholson. In my opinion, that's the problem. Split it down the middle. Ship all the people one way or the other for about a 3 mile radius. Then you can open the area back up earlier.

Traffic would be even better if you left in the 1st quarter.

They didn't make a sound when they ratcheted prices up on the die-hards and priced many of them out. The turnover brought in a different type of fan. One that views it as an event and a chance to network or just be seen.

Less emotional investment brings this type of response from a different type of fanbase. Then they punish everyone by taking a home game and moving it to Dallas.

Money created the problem. Money now solves the problem.

I stay till 0:00 in the 4th quarter. Every game. Period. They're calling out the people they are busy fleecing to help finance our program at the level we're at. They wanted them. Otherwise tickets wouldn't cost what they do.

LSU asked for it. Now they're getting it.

Rationalize it all you want but it's pretty widespread and its flat out CHICKENSHIT!

Tiger fans have ZERO claim to being the best fans.

Traffic has always been bad. No matter how early you leave there will be traffic jams. Smart people allow for this and either stay after the game for a little more tailgating or they just bear with it.
It's Tiger football people.
Enjoy the full game.
There aren't that damn many.
If you prefer to be home, then sell/give away your tickets and stay home. You can still brag to your friends that you have season tickets.

Living out of state, I don't get a chance to make all the home games. But I did attend Miss St game. I frankly could not believe what I was seeing when by the middle of the 3Q the place was half full. The game was very much in the balance...nothing close to a blow out.

I will never understand the rationale from anyone for leaving that early for what we pay for a ticket.

i was floored as well .. my brother that lives in houston watching the game on TV texted me talking about how pitiful the stadium looked in the third quarter for a game still in doubt against a ranked opponent .. he said they were even talking about it on the television broadcast .. but .. once again, GFunk fricking hits the nail on the head as to what happened to Tiger Stadium ... i don't care what people say, that place has changed drastically over the last 30 years .. can you imagine what the crowds would have been like in there in the 1970s and 1980s if we had the success as a program that we have had over the last 12 years ?

I'm not.

If anyone is taking anything too personally, it's those who worry about the comings and goings of others at a football game.

I wish someone would have informed the cops directing traffic after the Alabama game of this. They were making everyone who was on Nicholson go South. We sat in the parking lot for 2 hours or so until they allowed traffic to go both ways on Nicholson.

It's why,I believe, they are not expanded the stadium fully. if they made it over 100,000 plus games like this and ooc games would look absolutely pitiful.

wait until the expansion is finished and about 4,000 extra "average joe" season tickets hit the after market .. the people that are buying season tickets and crying that they can't even get the face value of the ticket, let alone the pro rated TAF fee they paid on top of it will be about ready to jump off the clock tower .. game days are going to be a mob scene of $10 and $20 tickets around the stadium for virtually every game .. this whole thing has a tipping point .. and i think it is around the corner ..

I agree with this. I'm seeing some of this already. I could have not purchased my season tickets and gone to every game for cheaper. Only thing is I wouldn't have rights to cheaper bowl season tickets.

This is the real issue with people leaving early. LSU is a parking lot before, during, and after games. There is no solution to the problem either. The area cannot support the amount of people trying to get in or out of the campus on a game day. It is a logistical cluster 4 |_| [ |(

Gordy Rush needs to tell his boy Derek Ponamsky to not leave at halftime of the basketball games.

I HATE people that leave early, but last week was a result of it taking 3 hours to get off campus the previous week.
