The guy has 27-5-5 right now against Houson, and:
quote:

@TrailBlazersPR: Damian Lillard's 25 points are a new career high. He has 14 of Portland's last 16 points.

quote:

@NBA: 6 straight for the rook Damian Lillard giving @pdxtrailblazers 111-108 lead over @HoustonRockets with 17.9 to play on #LeaguePass.

quote:

@SI_LeeJenkins: Damian Lillard is the first rookie PG to close games like this since...Kyrie Irving

Oh, what could have been.

I was watching it on league pass. He dominated the latter parts of the 4th quarter. Guy just knows how to score. Which is something the Hornets desperately need. He would have been a fabulous fit.

Don't get me wrong, I love what we have, but having a backcourt that can score at will to go along with a ridiculously talented big man prospect would be sick. We'd have an excellent and already talented core of 3 guys who are 23, 22, and 19 years old. That is scary.

We aren't getting a Damian Lillard this year. It's rare to find someone like that.

How has shabazz looked? I haven't seen him play yet. And I see batum has really came into his own. He really is becoming one of those upper tier forwards if he isn't already.

And I noticed that rivers doesn't really play with confidence. I hope soon he realizes he is the shooting guard out there, take them shots. You don't always have to set up another person. Cunk them bitches up sometimes. Maybe you'll make it my hats how you build it up. Sometimes there is something called passing it too much. I know you want to be a good teammate but we need buckets from you as we'll.

I personally think it'll take Rivers a few years to get to that level of comfort. Kinda like how Aminu is just now getting there. Hopefully he doesn't take THAT long but I still think it'll be a while.

Yeah Rivers still has plenty of time to develop and improve, but I don't think he'll ever come close to producing the way that Lillard can right now just from what we've seen.

I think Rivers can develop nicely as the season goes on.

Really, this season, and the future of this team, as well all know rests on gordon. We are a completely different team with a healthy productive gordon on the court. With Gordon playing, Hornets are 6-1 right now and tied for 2nd best record in the L.

Spurs - W
76ers - W
Rockets - W

Hopefully it's not that elongated wait for him. That'll be crazy if its that based on how much he works out and works at getting better. I just want him to go out there and stay out of his own head ya know? And just play with no regrets.

Nerlens Noel is going to take a while. Could be the best player in the draft 5 years down the line, but he won't be on opening night.

Zeller is a better option if you want to win now, but his upside isn't as high.

This draft sucks.
