Why no love for Marcus Mariota or Tajh Boyd?

I can understand Mariota mainly bc of Barner, but why not Boyd?

He should be getting some love, lack of national coverage

I'm paying plenty attention. He is getting talked about but on the back burner. He isn't really getting any love.

I tend to agree. Without Mariota I don't think they are still undefeated, but they could do without Barner since they have Thomas and Marshall.

Boyd has 9 interceptions

To 28 TD's and is one game short of 3k yards. Dude has played lights out.

Really then why not throw in Colby Cameron

27 TD's ZERO interceptions and one game short of 3,500 yards.

Im not saying Colby deserves Heisman votes Im saying Boyd has no business being in the heisman discussion.

The dude has been ridiculous. He and Browning from ULM. These guys should be playing on Sundays.

Tajh Boyd

Boyd has had a very solid season with impressive stats. Each passing day I get a little more nervous about playing them. But unfortunately for him, playing in the ACC, he would have to have better stats to be considered for Heisman. It does have a little to do with lack of coverage. He hasn't done anything memorable or had that signature Heisman moment. He had ONE moment to shine this year against FSU, and although he had a good game, they still lost. Three picks against Duke isn't gonna get it done. If he has a big day against USC things could change but there's no way he'll end up in NY.

There is absolutely nothing about Boyd that remotely says "Most Outstanding Player". He's basically the black ACC version of Colt Brennan/Case Keenum. Pretty much any quarterback worth half a damn could put up numbers in that system against that crap competition.

well why don't they?
or is he the only QB worth "half a damn" in the ACC?

He's definitely the best QB in the ACC. There just really aren't that many good QB's in the ACC. Him and EJ Manuel are the top of the ACC but wouldn't really stand out in most other conferences.

Tajh is definitely not better than EJ or Logan Thomas :inbeforewestvirginiafanstartstheloganthomashateparade: .

To be honest, Renner is a better quarterback, but none of them really scream elite prospect. Not that great of a year for NFL prospects at the position.
