Rusty was alright in Christmas. Nowhere near Anthony Michael Hall, though.
Audrie sucks in ALL vacations.
The kids were a smaller part in Christmas.

Christmas or Vegas. Those are the top 2 without a doubt. Outside of Beverly D'Angelo's tits, the other two were meh.

1. Vacation (by a country mile) - Christie Brinkley, Beverley and showers and french kissing and I bet you could use a cool one.

NOW YOU'RE TALKING!

2. Vegas Vacation (I don't really know why I like it so much.)

AM I RIGHT OR AM I RIGHT?

3. Christmas Vacation

4. European Vacation

Clark: "Hey, kids, I just heard on the news that an airline pilot just spotted Santa's sleigh on it's way in from New York City!
Eddie: You serious, Clark?

In that order. European not worthy of consideration.

Eddie: You surprised to see us, Clark?
Clark: Oh, Eddie...If I woke up in the morning with my head sewn to the carpet, I wouldn't be more surprised than I am now!

I'll go ahead and argue that I am a bigger fan than all. The correct order is:

Drum roll please. Drum roll.

Vacation
Christmas Vacation
Vegas Vacation
European Vacation

No Cousin Eddie is the only reason European falls below Vegas. However, Vegas isn't a National Lampoons movie which hurts it in my eyes a little. The top 2 are easily top 5 movies of all time.

If it wasn't for Nick Papageorgio...I would agree with this.

Christmas just doesn't have any stand out performances.

Who could ever forget Cousin Eddie on the diving board with his tank top tucked into his speedo?

Stands out to me.

The original for sentimental reasons. Along with Fast Times and War Games, these are the three movies that send me right back to the early 80's (good times).

But of course I have to pop in Christmas Vac. at least once this time of year.
