I apoligize to all the Guy Fieri fans, I was worng about his NY Resturant, it does not serve the worst food ever to a bunch of lemmings with no taste. There actually are worst places to eat. Again my apoligies

No beef. I'm apoligizing for my misinformed statements about his new restuarant. They weren't "on point bro"

My parents went to one of his places in Cali and said it wasn't good, but I highly doubt everything on the menu in the city is awful. There's no way. If that was the case, it'd be shut down by now due to zero profits

Everything on the menu could be awful and people would still go, see red lobster and olive garden as examples

i think the critics are mad b/c he made a name for himself being a character, instead of a serious chef, i mean he looks ridicules.

let me get this straight. the article says the restaurant is "standard" except for the gringo sushi. they describe 4 items they dont like and completely blast the guy. i dont know about the place and have never been but im sure i could go to most restaurants and find something i dont like on the menu. doesnt mean im gonna write off the place as shite because of a few items i dont like.

the guy is making money off his fame. who cares?

It doesn't have to be a five star restaurant to serve quality food. The point is that the quality of the food irrespective of what level of dining it offers, apparently leaves a lot to be desired. Virtually every review of the place has been very negative. There's nothing wrong with serving comfort food, diner food, whatever you want to call it, that isn't the issue. The issue is that this place is clearly not a well run operation. People that are fans of Fieri's are going to go there expecting the kind of good stuff he advocates on his show, and they're going to be disappointed because the execution at this place fricking sucks. Most won't make the connection that this restaurant is probably an order of magnitude larger than most of the places Fieri features on his show, which makes delivering consistent quality difficult.

I don't really think they are. I think they're pissed that he thought because he's a popular television personality he could open a huge hyped up restaurant in NY taht serves shitty food and nobody would call him out on it.
