can anyone suggest some boxed wines to keep at the house? I sometimes enjoy a glass of wine or two in the evening, but do not want to have a whole bottle. I like the box for its ease and continued freshness.

I don't like Franzia, and I currently have a Bota Box. It isn't bad, or at least for my undistinguished wine tasting abilities. Does anyone else drink boxed wine and have a preferred brand to go to?

Back in the day, I could consume an entire box of Franzia White Zin in one sitting. I'd feel like a bucket of assholes for a day or two afterwards, but it was a damn good time going down.

Big House Red is pretty solid out of a box. I'd happily drink that.

If you prefer it that way Black Box is about as good as it gets. But you can find some good ten-twelve dollar bottles and you can cork them and they will last a couple three days, red and a few more in the fridge white.

And remember a regular 750 ml bottle of wine is only 25 ounces. In terms of pours that's five glasses.

Bought some black box cab for the camp. For $20 for 4 bottles it ain't bad and it will last several weeks.

I like the Bota Pinot Grigio.
Black Box is also pretty good.
