I can't believe it but I like it.
Caller suggested putting Mettenberger in the shotgun with one tailback in the backfield and Shepard in the slot. Shepard would go in motion, stop behind center and take the snap, then pass it back to Mettenberger who would then throw the ball downfield. Randy suggested that the play could be called The Grinning Tiger. Miles said he liked it and to keep an eye out for it.

It's good so far as it goes, but wouldn't it be better if Shep laterals it to Ware who throws it behind his back to Mett? All we would need for this to work is the Washington Generals.

But seriously even if it doesn't work can you imagine the press this would get. Les Miles takes a play from a fan on his radio show and implements it that week! That would be epic!

I don,t know why they hav,nt put ware in the wildcat, let him fake run up to the line, drop back a step r two and throw downfield. What i am i saying, that jus might fool the shite out of a defense. We jus dont do that kind of stuff here at LSU!

Miles didnt say they would run it. Hey went on to say those types of plays need to be practiced. Cant be thrown in there. Wuth a luagh he said in 3 falls we might have it down.
