I agree, and this is from reading you and Bubba's posts on the RB. Part of my excitement is from ya'lls excitement.

It really is exciting though. Especially in college basketball where you have a pretty certain idea of the level of talent you have coming in on the recruiting front.

Thing about college basketball is that you can have a team full of freshmen and sophomores and be the best in the country.

And JJ, plus staff, can fricking recruit. We are going to come out of the darkness man. I love it.

Was 10-11 with season tickets when Rickey, Vernell, CJ, Shaq, ect.. were playing. Loved the bball team and going to games.

Bringing JJ back was the right move.

Ah man I used to love going to watch Shaq, Vernell singelton, Clearance Ceaser, Gert Hammink, TJ Pugh etc... great times as a kid, my dad used to bring me a lot!

Sad part was, you could get free tix to football games and pay 20-30 bucks for basketball tix...

I was not on board initially and was quite adamant about it. But thus far, I was completely wrong and couldn't be any happier about it. I know we're going to have rough times this year because we lack interior play, but we play a good brand of basketball, have some new faces that are showing up early, and look to have something going on the court. And if you can't get excited over this class I don't know what to tell you. Martin is in the Carmelo mold, where he is a true 4 that can handle the ball, shoot from outside, and play post both on the offensive and defensive side. I just love the fact that we have high level, athletic guys with a lot of length that actually have basketball skills coming in for 2013.

The SEC better watch out in two years.

I'm really impressed with Carmouche. He's outstanding off the dribble. Gives us 2 guys who can get their shot at any time.

Malik Morgan is a really heady player, and I like Hammink.

We're going to surprise people if JOB can stay healthy carrying the load. If he can, playing Coleman at the 4 won't kill us.

Lol I forgot about Mo! I was a big Chris Jackson fan, was really upset when he changed his name to Abdul Rauf and didn't salute the national anthem.

The team looks really physical compared to the Trent era. They have a little fight in 'em and I love it.

I just remember him as a Tiger to be honest. His freshman season I got to see live. Best personal season I've seen a Tiger have.

I know that it is in the past but if Godfrey would have been able to play I could see this team possibly making a longshot run at the NCAA tourney this year....
Guards: Hickey, Stringer, Collins, Carmouche, Morgan
Guards/ Forward: Coleman, Hammink
Post: JOB, Ludwig, Godfrey, Courtney
