So he's the second or third best rb on the team?

He's averaging over 7 yards per rush over his career, so it's a possibility.

Yea but op said he's taking carries away from Magee as if Magee has been getting carries all year.

He doesn't even have a carry on the year whereas shep has been getting carries for 4 years

I really don't care about the DEPTH chart. Its called EFFECTIVE. If he is EFFECTIVE. USE HIM. Its pretty simple. What is NOT simple is why Miles has waited until NOW to do things that he could have used earlier in the season that could have won a couple games we have lost.

Earning, and Shep has been productive in that role.

Know how I know you're a Miles brasher? He played at RB in one of those two losses. Or we're you too busy looking for your caps lock to notice?

Earning tons of respect from the team.

Miles is giving a 4yr man who has done what was asked of him a chance to shine for scouts.

Shep has had a hard time finding a niche, so miles is making Shep some highlights for scouts.

This is why players love miles.

he hits the hole quicker than any back we have. one missed assignment or good blocking and it is instant 10-15. if we ran more misdirect like atm does he would be even more dangerous. the kid has earned every carry and, if anything, Miles/staff might be trying to showcase skillsets that some league scout might be looking for. btw, Miles always has my respect...whether I agree with him or not.

geaux Shep.

If you run him to edge every time it becomes too obvious. Shep is tough enough to handle inside runs

i felt all along that giving shep the ball up the middle was to set him up for the outside later on if we needed that. i thought it would surprise msu more than it did; it sure surprised me to see him go up the middle. but it will prevent our next opponents from assuming shep is going to the outside automatically. his reverses and sweeps were too predictable.

He has made some good plays from the RB position so why not give him some reps. He has great speed and ability to make cut.

RS10 is a difficult player ti utilize. He is a great athlete but, he doesn't really fit well into any position. He probably should have been converted to a defensive player.
