Remngton R-25 vs Browning BAR

I have an itch for an auto loading woods rifle.
BAR cost less with more choices of calibers
R-25 looks cool in adequate caliber choices
What Say You?

The R25 is essentially an AR15 or AR10. But the one nice thing is that it is set up for hunting and is lightweight and looks awesome in camo.
But for a deer rifle, I would rather a bolt-gun fed from an internal magazine. The sleek profile of a bolt rifle and the lack of a pistol grip keep the weight down and help you getting in and out of a box stand.
I vote BAR if it's between those two.

I love my BAR safari grade. I don't carry it a ton though because it looks so good. It is my shootin house rifle. It shoots sweet though.

Because I already have 3 long distance bolt actions. I figure I'll put a low power scope on it, maybe lighted reticle.
No good reason other than I like buying guns

I love the looks of an oil finish BAR. I'm afraid I'd do what chadau79 does, seldom take it hunting

Get a good AR10 in .308 -- and keep the world in balance.
.308 ammo is packaged 20 rounds/box. Most AR10's in .308 hold 19 rounds in the magazine + one in the chamber.
Don't you love it a plan comes together ?

Bar all the way! I put a camo cover on mine, and I use it as my primary hunting rifle. An auto comes in very handy when hunting hogs. Some will argue that they can shoot a bolt action as fast as an automatic, but the fact that the noise you make breaking the bolt, lets game pinpoint you, whereas with the auto they sometimes cannot tell where the shot came from, therefore making it a lot easier getting off that second and third shot.
